With the aim of providing students with exposure to real-world industrial environments, enhancing career orientation, and strengthening their ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, on April 15, 2026, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Ton Duc Thang University organized an industrial visit for its students in collaboration with Vulcan Labs.

The delegation departed from Ton Duc Thang University and visited the company’s headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City. During the visit, students had the opportunity to experience a modern, dynamic, and flexible working environment. Company representatives provided an overview of their operations and corporate culture, highlighting the development philosophy: “A happy programmer is a successful programmer”, along with an open working model combining on-site and remote work.

As part of the visit, the company’s engineers delivered insightful technical sharing sessions. Although operating primarily in the software domain, Vulcan Labs offered students valuable perspectives on the integration between hardware and software in modern engineering systems, particularly how software interacts with sensors and microchips in smart devices. Students also explored UI/UX design processes and their practical applications in developing HMI systems, contributing to more efficient monitoring and operation of equipment and production lines. The Q&A session was conducted in an engaging and interactive manner, enabling students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world industry requirements. In addition, minigame activities and meaningful gifts created a lively atmosphere, bringing the visit to a successful and memorable conclusion. Overall, the visit provided valuable hands-on experiences, helping students gain a clearer understanding of industry expectations and future career pathways.
