Seminar on AI-Based Storage and Communication Systems by Prof. Kim Sunghwan (Sejong University, South Korea)

On the afternoon of August 3, 2026, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE), Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized a seminar entitled "AI-Based Storage and Communication Systems", presented by Prof. Kim Sunghwan. The event was part of the Faculty's ongoing international research collaboration and academic exchange initiatives, aiming to strengthen connections with international experts, promote cutting-edge research, and enhance the quality of education and scientific research for faculty members and students.

The seminar was delivered by Prof. Kim Sunghwan, who currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and is also a distinguished researcher at Sejong University (South Korea), an institution ranked 251–300 in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026. The seminar was attended by the Faculty's leadership, academic staff, members of the AITECH research group, and faculty members with interests in artificial intelligence technologies. The event took place in an open, professional, and intellectually engaging academic atmosphere.

During his presentation, Prof. Kim Sunghwan provided comprehensive insights into the application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) to enhance the performance of modern data storage and communication systems. He also introduced emerging technological trends, practical research methodologies, and potential directions for future international research collaborations and joint scientific publications between the two institutions. The discussion session that followed attracted enthusiastic participation from faculty members, who exchanged ideas on research opportunities, technical solutions, and future collaborative initiatives.
