Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Students Visit Long Khang Technology Co., Ltd.
On the morning of July 11, 2026, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE), Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), organized a field trip to Long Khang Technology Co., Ltd. and the iGuzzini Vietnam Lighting Experience Center. The visit aimed to provide students with opportunities to gain first-hand exposure to the corporate environment, enhance their practical learning experience, and strengthen their career orientation in the engineering field. This activity was part of the Faculty’s Student Affairs Plan for the 2025–2026 academic year, contributing to stronger connections between academic training and industry needs.
The visit was attended by current students, alumni, and faculty members. During the program, participants were introduced to the history, business operations, and technological solutions developed by Long Khang Technology Co., Ltd., as well as the advanced architectural lighting solutions of iGuzzini, a world-leading Italian lighting company. Company representatives also shared valuable insights into engineering workflows, professional requirements for engineers, and the essential skills needed to succeed in a professional engineering environment.
During the visit, students toured the company's exhibition area and explored modern lighting technologies and equipment currently applied in the industry. Interactive discussions between students and company engineers provided practical insights into project implementation processes, engineering problem-solving, and career development opportunities after graduation. These exchanges enabled students to gain a clearer understanding of labor market expectations and the importance of professional knowledge in real-world industrial applications.
The field trip not only reinforced the knowledge students had acquired in the classroom but also provided valuable opportunities to connect with the professional workplace, enhance career awareness, and develop practical competencies. Furthermore, the activity strengthened the collaborative relationship between the FEEE and industry partners in education and training, supporting the shared goal of developing high-quality engineering professionals capable of meeting the evolving demands of industry and society.
