On the afternoon of December 4, 2025, at meeting room C010 of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) warmly welcomed professors from the University of Agder (Norway) and the Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia) for a working session and a specialized seminar on renewable energy and green technologies. The event was attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, and students interested in modern energy and engineering fields.
Representing the University of Agder (Norway) were Prof. Khang Van Huynh and Prof. Joao Leal from the Faculty of Engineering and Science, along with Prof. Sathyajith Mathew - Program Manager of the Master's Program in Renewable Energy and Coordinator of the Offshore Wind Electrical Engineering Program (FLOW). The Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia) was represented by Prof. Toomas Vaimann, Senior Researcher. On the side of the Faculty of FEEE, the meeting was attended by Dr. Huynh Van Van – Vice Dean, together with lecturers and students of the Faculty.
During the working session, both sides discussed various important topics aimed at strengthening cooperation in teaching, student exchange, and scientific research in the coming years. The highlight of the seminar was the professors’ presentations on renewable energy and green technologies, introducing emerging research trends worldwide and providing valuable suggestions for students in selecting topics for their graduation projects. In addition, representatives from both universities shared information about scholarship opportunities offered by the University of Agder and Tallinn University of Technology, opening up promising pathways for international study and research for FEEE students.
The meeting not only strengthened the collaborative relationship between the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and its international partners but also fostered activities in teaching, research, and development within the fields of renewable energy and green technologies. This event marks an important milestone in the Faculty’s internationalization strategy, bringing practical benefits to both lecturers and students while laying the foundation for broader and more sustainable cooperation in the future.
