Exchange and experience-sharing workshop for students designing printed circuit boards using Altium Designer software

On the morning of October 22, 2024, at meeting room C, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (FEEE) and Fuvitech Electronics Company successfully organized an exchange and experience sharing session on "Designing printed circuit boards using Altium Designer software". The exchange program was designed to augment students' knowledge and improve their abilities in designing and manufacturing printed circuit boards. It provides an opportunity for students to become acquainted with one of the most recent and advanced printed circuit board design tools.

At the exchange session, we were honored by the presence of Mr. Mai Minh Man - Director of Fuvitech Electronics Company. On behalf of The FEEE was represented by Dr. Vu Tri Vien - Head of the Department of Automation and Control (DAC), the lecturers of the DAC, and the Leader of the Electronics Club, as well as numerous students. The meeting provided students with additional knowledge and a better understanding of the Altium Designer software. It allows students to put their theoretical knowledge into practice, ranging from drawing circuit diagrams to creating whole printed circuit boards. At the end of the discussion, students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers from professors and Fuvitech Electronics Company personnel.

Students were able to get closer to one of the most contemporary and advanced circuit design tools thanks to the exchange and sharing session, which will tremendously benefit them in their competitiveness and future career chances.
