On March 28, 2026, the “University Admissions and Career Orientation Day – TDTU Open Day 2026” took place in a vibrant atmosphere at the Tan Hung main campus, Ho Chi Minh City, attracting more than 3,000 students and parents from Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces. Faculties and functional units were arranged into dedicated areas to provide in-depth consultation. Among them, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) stood out as a major highlight, drawing strong interest from students passionate about technology and engineering.
From early morning, the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Faculty’s booth welcomed a large number of high school students for visits and exploration. Models and research-based products designed and developed by students were showcased, leaving a strong impression and sparking curiosity and excitement. Many students actively asked questions about academic programs, career prospects, and the learning environment. Faculty leaders, lecturers, and student assistants provided direct consultation and detailed information, helping students gain a clearer understanding of the programs offered.
In addition to on-site consultation, this year the FEEE expanded its outreach through online admissions consulting via YouTube, enabling students who could not attend in person to follow the sessions, ask questions, and receive timely responses. This initiative helped broaden access and enhance the effectiveness of admissions communication in the context of digital transformation.
The Faculty also organized engaging mini-games applying smart technologies, creating a lively atmosphere and offering participants opportunities to receive attractive souvenirs. These hands-on activities allowed students to experience a dynamic and modern learning environment more closely.
Sharing their experience after attending the event, students from Phong Phu High School, Ho Chi Minh City, said: “Ton Duc Thang University has a very spacious and airy campus, and today’s event is extremely vibrant. When visiting the booth of the FEEE, we were enthusiastically guided by the lecturers, who thoroughly answered our questions and satisfied our curiosity about future careers.”
In addition to students, many parents also expressed strong interest. One parent shared that the university’s training quality and reputation, especially in engineering fields, were key factors in their confidence in choosing the university. After directly visiting and receiving consultation, they felt assured that it is a suitable environment for their child’s development and career pursuit.
TDTU Open Day 2026 was not only an opportunity to provide admissions information but also served as a bridge connecting the university with students, parents, and the community. The thorough preparation and professionalism of the FEEE left a strong impression, helping students better orient themselves in choosing their future majors ahead of the upcoming high school graduation exam.
