The Second Student Dialogue of the 2026–2027 Academic Year and the Closing Ceremony of the 2026 Spring Volunteer Campaign
On the evening of October 27, 2026, Lecture Hall 2A at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) came alive with an atmosphere of enthusiasm and warmth as the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized the Second Student Dialogue of the first semester of the 2026–2027 academic year, in conjunction with the Closing Ceremony of the 2026 Spring Volunteer Campaign. The event provided an important opportunity for the University, the Faculty, and students to strengthen their connections, exchange perspectives, foster mutual understanding, and work together toward a positive and rewarding university experience.
The event was attended by the Faculty's leadership, lecturers, staff members, and representatives from relevant University offices and departments. The program also welcomed representatives of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hiep Phuoc Commune, the Executive Committees of the University's Youth Union and Student Association, and the Executive Committees of the Faculty's Youth Union and Student Association. A large number of students from different academic cohorts also participated, including student representatives and members of the volunteer teams.
The program opened with a direct, open, and constructive dialogue between the Faculty's leadership and students. During the session, the Faculty's leadership provided updates on the Faculty's general operations, offered guidance on academic planning, and explained essential academic regulations. They also listened to and addressed students' questions and concerns regarding their majors, academic progress, personal development, and academic activities. Through these candid and practical exchanges, students gained a clearer understanding of relevant academic matters and greater confidence in pursuing their educational goals at the University.
Following the dialogue session, the program continued with the closing ceremony of the 2026 Spring Volunteer Campaign. Through a series of documentary videos, attendees revisited the volunteers' dedicated journey and their efforts to overcome challenges while carrying out community service activities in the campaign's designated areas. On this occasion, the Organizing Committee recognized and presented awards to individuals who had made outstanding contributions to the campaign. Sincere appreciation was also extended to partner organizations for their continued cooperation and support of the Faculty's community engagement initiatives.
The program concluded on a positive note, strengthening the bonds among the University, the Faculty, and its students. Beyond providing students with a better understanding of their rights and responsibilities, the event helped promote social responsibility, compassion, and the enthusiasm of Electrical and Electronics Engineering students at TDTU in community-oriented activities. It also reaffirmed the Faculty's commitment to listening to students, supporting their development, and encouraging their active contributions to society.
