Ton Duc Thang University Hosts the 10th International Conference AETA 2025

The 10th International Conference on Advanced Engineering and Technology Applications (AETA 2025) was successfully concluded on December 13, 2025, after three days of intensive, productive, and high-quality academic activities. The conference was hosted by Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) in collaboration with prestigious academic partners, including Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, VSB – Technical University of Ostrava (Czech Republic), Pukyong National University (Korea), National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (Taiwan), University of Waikato (New Zealand), and Universiti Sains Malaysia (Malaysia).

Over more than a decade of development, AETA has established itself as a reputable annual international academic forum, held on a rotating basis in various countries, including Korea (2016, 2023), the Czech Republic (2018, 2024), and Colombia (2019), thereby expanding its academic influence within the global research community. The opening ceremony, held on December 11, attracted the participation of leaders from partner universities, international scholars, and experts. In his opening remarks, Dr. Vo Hoang Duy – Vice President of Ton Duc Thang University and Co-Chair of the Conference – emphasized AETA’s role as a sustainable academic platform that fosters research collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the enhancement of academic standing.

AETA 2025 received a total of 99 high-quality research papers from authors representing multiple countries and regions, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Korea, Taiwan, New Zealand, and Vietnam. All accepted papers were published globally by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering (LNEE) proceedings series. The inclusion of the proceedings in prestigious academic databases such as Web of Science and Scopus strongly affirms the scientific quality and international impact of the conference.

The academic content of AETA 2025 focused on strategic technology fields such as electrical and electronic engineering, control and automation, telecommunications, computer science, and mechanical engineering. Presentations and discussion sessions addressed a wide range of emerging topics, including next-generation communication systems (5G/6G), quantum technologies in communication networks, applications of artificial intelligence and GenAI in engineering, GaN semiconductor devices for high-power and high-frequency applications, as well as research directions in smart energy systems and sustainable technologies. These sessions attracted strong interest and lively academic exchanges among participants.

On December 13, international delegates took part in a cultural exchange  and Cu Chi Tunnels Tourist Area in Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to mutual understanding and strengthening cooperative relationships among participating institutions. The success of AETA 2025 not only reaffirmed Ton Duc Thang University’s strategic orientation toward research excellence, innovation, and international integration, but also opened up further opportunities for in-depth research and educational collaboration in the future.
