Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering welcomes Freshmen of intake 29 – academic year 2025–2026

On the morning of September 13, 2025, at Hall 2A of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) solemnly organized the “Welcome Ceremony for Freshmen of Intake 29 – Academic Year 2025–2026”. The event not only provided newcomers with an overview of the university’s learning environment and training orientation but also inspired great excitement for a new academic journey full of opportunities and challenges.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong – Dean of the FEEE, Dr. Huynh Van Van and Dr. Nguyen Huu Khanh Nhan – Vice Deans; together with faculty members and staff. Particularly, all freshmen of Intake 29 attended in a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere.

The program began with vibrant musical performances, creating a youthful and engaging ambiance. Following that, Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong shared remarkable achievements of FEEE’s students and introduced the Faculty’s upcoming plans for the new academic year. Representatives from academic departments also presented an overview of training programs. On behalf of Intake 29, student Thai Hiep Thanh – Valedictorian of 2025, majoring in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering (Semiconductor IC Design specialization) – was honored, marking a proud moment of recognition for academic excellence. The atmosphere became even more exciting with the award ceremony of the Robot Line Following Contest and scholarships sponsored by Jinyu Tire Vietnam Company, which encouraged students’ creativity and scientific research spirit. In addition, freshmen were introduced to academic clubs such as the Electronics Club, Robot and UAV Research Club (URLAB), and other opportunities to engage in research activities from the very first year. The program also included important sessions on academic affairs, student affairs, university regulations and policies, as well as activities of the Youth Union – Student Association, the “Five-Good Student” movement, and a variety of interactive games and mini-challenges that helped freshmen quickly adapt to their new learning environment.

The ceremony concluded with a memorable photo session of faculty members, staff, and students, capturing warm and lasting moments. This event provided Intake 29 freshmen with their very first foundation, helping them better understand academic orientations, student activities, and inspiring confidence to set goals for their university journey at TDTU.
