On July 26, 2025, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) solemnly held the Ceremony for the Admission into the Vietnam Radio – Electronics Association, marking an important milestone in the university’s academic development, professional collaboration, and scientific research in the field of electronics and telecommunications.
Attending the ceremony, on behalf of the Vietnam Radio – Electronics Association, were Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Canh Minh – Vice President and General Secretary of the Association, along with another member of the Executive Committee. From FEEE, TDTU, the event welcomed Dr. Tran Thanh Phương – Dean of the Faculty of FEEE, Dr. Nguyen Huu Khanh Nhan – Vice Dean, and other faculty members.
With the goal of enhancing academic exchange and promoting research and practical application in the field of electronics and telecommunications engineering, the FEEE officially became a member of the Vietnam Radio – Electronics Association and established a branch (sub-association) at the TDTU. The sub-association currently consists of 13 members, led by Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong as Branch Chairman, and Dr. Nguyen Huu Khanh Nhan as Branch Secretary, who supports coordination and organizational duties.
The speech at the Ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Canh Minh outlined the Association’s vision, emphasizing its role in connecting educational institutions, research centers, and enterprises to develop expert resources and foster technology transfer. He also expressed his expectations that the new branch at TDTU would serve as an active academic hub, contributing to the organization of technical seminars, expert forums, and the development of young professionals in the field.
In response, Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong affirmed the Faculty’s commitment to accompanying the Association in professional activities, sharing resources and infrastructure, and promoting academic engagement. Joining the Association not only expands the Faculty’s academic network but also offers lecturers and students better access to industry practices, thereby improving their professional competence and career integration.
Concluding the Ceremony, Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong expressed his sincere gratitude to the Vietnam Radio – Electronics Association and emphasized the honor of becoming an official member. He remarked that the establishment of the sub-association at TDTU represents a key milestone in strengthening the university’s collaboration with the broader scientific and technological community in the field of radio – electronics.
