On the morning of September 28, 2025, a warm and joyful atmosphere filled Hall 10F at Ton Duc Thang University for the 28th Anniversary Celebration of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE). This event was not only a milestone marking nearly three decades of growth and development, but also a chance for generations of lecturers, alumni, and current students to reunite and take pride in their shared home. The ceremony was attended by the university's Board of Rectors, past and present faculty leaders, esteemed lecturers, representatives from partner companies, successful alumni, and a large number of students.
The program featured several highlights, including vibrant musical performances, a welcome speech from Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong - Dean of the Faculty of FEEE, a speech by Mr. Nguyen Hai Phung, CEO of Lin Ka Services Co., Ltd., and heartfelt sharing from outstanding alumni. In his speech, the Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong emphasized the faculty's commitment to innovating its curriculum and strengthening corporate partnerships to give students a competitive edge in the digital age. The business representative affirmed their long-term commitment, not just through donations of equipment and scholarships, but also by expanding internship and job opportunities to help students gain real-world experience.
A key highlight of the event was the moment to honor the continuous dedication of everyone involved. In a solemn atmosphere, the Faculty Board awarded certificates of merit and scholarships to students with outstanding academic and research achievements over the past year. This was a well-deserved recognition and a great source of motivation for students to continue their efforts. In addition, many long-serving lecturers were presented with commemorative medals as a token of deep appreciation for their tireless contributions to education and research, which have helped build the faculty's reputation and traditions. The event also acknowledged the generous contributions from various organizations and individuals. CHINT Vietnam Holding Co., Ltd. sponsored electrical equipment valued at over 310 million VND, while Jinyu (Vietnam) Tire Co., Ltd. provided five scholarships worth 5 million VND each, offering much-needed support to students. The collective effort of alumni was particularly touching: Mr. Tran Anh Tuan and Mr. Vo Tan Dat each contributed 3 million VND along with five Revit MEPF and five AutoCAD courses; Mr. Tran Quoc Ha donated 2 million VND plus three IELTS, five TOEIC, and ten APTIS courses; Mr. Mai Minh Man contributed 2 million VND and ten electronic circuit design courses on Altium software; and the group of alumni working at QUATEST 3 donated 5 million VND. These contributions were not just material support but also a powerful source of encouragement for future generations of students.
The ceremony concluded with a memorable photo session. Everyone agreed that after 28 years, the FEEE has become a true home, a solid bridge between knowledge and practice. Today's success is a result of the collective effort of lecturers, students, businesses, and alumni throughout the journey. The event left an unforgettable mark, affirming the faculty's aspirations to continue reaching for new achievements.
