Bridging Industry and Academia – Opening Pathways to the Future: A Specialized Seminar on Semiconductor IC Design and Career Opportunities for Students

At 2:00 PM on April 23, 2026, at Room A0403, Ton Duc Thang University, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) organized a specialized seminar titled “Semiconductor IC Design in the Digital Era: Career Opportunities and Development Pathways for Future Engineers”. The event was attended by representatives from Renesas Design Company Limited, along with faculty members and a large number of students, creating an academic environment closely connected with industry practice.

At the seminar, Mr. Pham Ngoc Hung, representative of Renesas Design Company Limited, presented an overview of the semiconductor industry, emphasizing its critical role in modern technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and smart devices. The presentation also covered the IC design process, major specialization tracks, and the growing demand for skilled engineers in the industry.
