Students of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Visit and Intern at “Phuoc Thanh Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Company”
To create opportunities for students to engage with real-world industrial environments, gain clearer career orientation, and effectively apply their acquired knowledge to practical settings, on December 9, 2025, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE), Ton Duc Thang University collaborated with Phuoc Thanh Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Company to organize an industrial field trip for students.
The trip began early in the morning at the campus of Ton Duc Thang University. After a smooth journey, the group arrived at Phuoc Thanh Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Company, located at Lot 243, Street No. 12, Amata Industrial Park, Long Binh Ward, Dong Nai Province. At the company, students were guided directly by MSc. Nguyen Ho, who provided an overview of the company’s operations and explained the professional competencies expected from future engineers.
Throughout the visit, students observed firsthand the automated production lines for electrical devices, lighting products, and household appliances, as well as various stages of product quality inspection. In addition, the company introduced its road-based goods transportation activities and warehouse storage procedures, helping students gain a comprehensive understanding of the production–distribution value chain of an electrical equipment manufacturer.
Following the factory tour, students participated in an interactive Q&A session covering topics such as automation, production processes, industry requirements, and essential engineering skills and software tools. These practical insights offered by the company helped students further clarify their career paths and identify the technical knowledge and skills they need to strengthen.
The visit took place in an enthusiastic and engaging atmosphere, leaving students with many positive impressions. At the end of the program, the company presented students with gifts consisting of household electrical products under the Nanoco brand - items manufactured directly at the factory—as a meaningful gesture of encouragement and support for their academic journey.
