Seminar on “Additive Manufacturing Technology”
In order to create a good exchange enviroment for learning of students with universities around the world,Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) of Ton Duc Thang University hold a seminar on “Additive Manufacturing Technology” through out the Zoom platform on October 18th, 2022.
The seminar welcomed Dr. Jiri Hajnys - Technical University of Ostrava (SBV), the Czech Republic and student Ma Phu who studying master programme at SBV. On the representative side the FEEE of Ton Duc Thang University, there was the presence of lecturers Dr. Nguyen Van Dung and Dr. Tran Viet Hung. At the seminar, Dr. Jiri Hajnys introduced many modern machines, equipments, advanced techniques that researched by SBV. StudentMa Phu expressed that SBV welcomed creative contributions, inventions from FEEE’s students of Ton Duc Thang University and he was ready to support if students meet difficulties in technical issues and in the learning process.
At the end of the seminar, the lecturers of the FEEE instructed students to initially learn about multi -dimensional printing technology. Dr. Nguyen Van Dung has also raised some issues such as “Would the achievement of the printing processes in the future be able to replace human body parts in the medical field?”. The issues set by lecturers will create new ideas for students in the process of learning and research in the future. The seminar is an opportunity for students to access new technology information and collect new knowledge to complement themselves.
