Working session between the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Hong Kong Gowin Semiconductor Corp. and Trace-Tec Vietnam Ltd.

On the afternoon of June 20, 2024, at the Library meeting room on the 6th floor, Tan Phong campus, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE), Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) successfully organized a working session with Gowin Semiconductor Company (Taiwan Semiconductor Company). The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the introduction of semiconductor technology into the curriculum at FEEE.

        At the working session, we were honored to welcome the presence of representatives from Hong Kong Gowin Semiconductor Corp., Mr. Stanley Tse – Asia Director, Mr. Nguyen Trong Van – Sale Manager in Vietnam; from Trace-Tec Vietnam company, Mr. Pham Van Kinh – R&D Manager, Mr. Nguyen Duy Hieu – Sale Manager  and the FEEE with the presence of the Faculty Management Board: Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong - Vice Dean in Charge of Faculty, Dr. Nguyen Huu Khanh Nhan - Vice Dean of  Faculty, and Dr. Huynh Van Van – Vice Dean of Faculty. The parties mutually agreed to plan to incorporate semiconductor technology into the curriculum. At the same time, Gowin Semiconductor Corp. will be expected to sponsor equipment to serve the teaching program at the Faculty.

       At the end of the working session, there was a souvenir photo session between the FEEE and Gowin Semiconductor Corp. Through the working session, the two sides had more opportunities to cooperate in research as well as incorporate semiconductor technology into the curriculum for students studying at TDTU. Thereby contributing to the training of future semiconductor technology engineers.
