On the afternoon of August 24, 2024, at Hall 2A, Ton Duc Thang University, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) organized a welcoming event for students of the 2024–2025 academic year. This meeting was not only an occasion for the Leadership of the Faculty to review the outstanding achievements of the 2023–2023 academic year but also an opportunity to discuss with students the directions and objectives for the upcoming school year. Additionally, the meeting provided an opportunity for the Faculty to listen to and understand the students’ opinions, thoughts, and aspirations, thereby addressing their concerns.
The meeting took place with the participation of The Leadership of the Faculty, the heads of departments along with the faculty lecturers, staff, and a large number of students from the Faculty. Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong - Vice Dean in Charge of FEEE, on behalf of the Faculty’s leadership, shared and summarized the main activities of the 2023-2024 academic year and outlined the development orientation of the Faculty for the new academic year to motivate both lecturers and students.
Next part was the award ceremony for students who won high prizes in the Line Following Robot competition organized by the Faculty; and those who made significant contributions to the overall development of the Faculty in the 2023-2024 academic year. Following the program, Dr. Huynh Van Van - Vice Dean of Faculty, also discussed with students the tasks related to the overseas graduation project program. Following that was a student dialogue session led by Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong, aimed at sharing and answering questions related to academic matters for students. The meeting continued with a photo session between all the faculty members, staff, and students, and the introduction of the Executive Committee of the Youth Association. Continuing the program, Mr. Le Duc Thinh - Academic Affairs Officer of the Faculty, informed students about issues related to academic affairs, including the school’s regulations and rules that students need to be aware of. At the end of the program, Mr. Phan Thanh Duy - Student Affairs Officer of the Faculty, presented topics related to student affairs for the new academic year, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the school’s regulations.
The 2024-2025 academic year welcoming event for students of the FEEE concluded successfully. The meeting left a deep impression with the dedication of the Faculty’s lecturers and the proactive learning spirit of the students. The FEEE hopes that after this meeting, students will feel more confident and ready for the challenges in their upcoming academic journey.
