In order to create conditions for students to have the opportunity to experience and interact with the real working environment in factories and enterprises, on the morning of November 11th, 2022, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) of Ton Duc Thang University and the Management Board of the factory organized a visit for students of the FEEE.
The trip departed quite early, from Ton Duc Thang University, the delegation moved and arrived at the factory of Renesas Company at Tan Thuan export processing zone (EPZ), District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. At the beginning of the tour, students were able to take souvenir photos at the factory. Next, students listened to the introduction of the representative about the content and activities of the company and factory. It is known that Renesas is the only subsidiary in Vietnam of Renesas electronics group, the world's number one supplier of microcontrollers as well as a leading supplier of advanced semiconductor solutions including microcontrollers, SoC solutions, and a wide range of analog and electrical devices. In addition, the company also offers an ideal international working environment for students majoring in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, etc.
After being guided to visit and learn about the factory, the students answered questions about the factory, as well as the recruitment policy. Thereby, students know some more skills and knowledge that engineers need, to meet the rigorous requirements of working in international enterprises. Moreover, they can also participate in exciting activities and events as well as receive gifts when participating in the mini-games. The tour progressed and ended with students’ excitement.
