To create conditions for expanding international cooperation in higher education as well as promoting the implementation of the goal of attracting international students to study and research at the University. Recently, on May 20, 2024, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) worked with students of CNAM University (Conservatoire National des Arts et Mestiers), France who came to intern at the FEEE. Attending the meeting were Dr. Huynh Van Van – Vice Dean of the FEEE and Dr. Fayaz Hussain – Researcher of Faculty.
At the FEEE, international students will be arranged with regular students of the Faculty and taught in English. The FEEE, TDTU has signed an MOU with the CNAM University about tuition exemption for the CNAM's students to study/research at TDTU. The CNAM University was founded in 1794 and is the oldest university in France.
At the working session, Dr. Huynh Van Van disseminated regulations and content related to internships of the Faculty and University. At the same time, Faculty and CNAM’s students agreed on the internship time and schedule in Vietnam in the near future. Besides, Dr. Fayaz Hussain shared research issues and working environment in Vietnam.
The meeting was a success and had an important meaning in maintaining and expanding international cooperation in training. At the same time, it contributes to promoting the image of the Faculty, TDTU to international students in general and European students in particular.
