Recently, on 10th October, 2019, at the meeting room C, Ton Duc Thang University - Tan Phong campus, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering had opportunity to meet Professor Tran Tri Nang, an expert at physical semi-conductor, working at College of Science and Technology of Minesota University (U.S.) and being co – founder of Ecosolar International Company. He is an expert in consulting solar energy, thin film material, and water filtration technology. With over 30 years of research in the field of photovoltaic thin-film materials and living in the US, more than 62 patents, Professor has spent his valuable time sharing with lecturers and students. of the Department about the results of applied materials research for photovoltaic cells and the US patent experience.
Moreover, at the seminar, the experience of applying for scholarships to study in the US, Japan and some other countries was also instructed by the Professor, especially for students wishing to study abroad. these countries. Closing the seminar was a Q&A session between Professor and the participants about the US patent registration procedure, study abroad programs and some other related content that took place vigorously.
With admirable research achievements, Prof. Tran Tri Nang is the emblem of the learning spirit of Vietnamese people living in U.S. in particular and entire the world in general. Thereby encouraging the spirit of learning, research, and continuous development to be able to contribute to the social development of all officials, lecturers and students.
