On the 23rd of January year 2021, The Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Ton Duc Thang University and Swedish telecommunications corporation Ericsson successfully held an online seminar through Microsoft Teams. The seminar was about 5G from a historical perspective, the key benefits of 5G, and the outlooks of 5G in the next 5 years. Attending this seminar were experts from Ericsson Group, the main speaker was Ms. Thuy Pham and students who come from Department of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering of Ton Duc Thang University.
Opening the seminar, expert Thuy Pham briefly introduced along with the development of 5G worldwide over the years. After that, the expert also mentioned the benefits as well as the versatility of 5G such as fast transmission speed, high reliability, ete. Moreover, the number of people using 5G in other countries around the world also the usage of 5G in society and business were also an indication by experts through specific statistics.
At the end of the seminar, Ericsson Group shared more about the development tendency of 5G for the next few years and answered questions of the students. At the same time, it brought back great conditions for students at TDTU to access career opportunities at Ericsson. Through the seminar, students could decide the career future orientation as well as learn more about the current 5G development trends.
