On the afternoon of November 7, 2025, at Room C010, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) had the honor of welcoming Professor Wu-Ching Chou from the Faculty of Electrophysics, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (Taiwan) for an academic exchange and professional collaboration, as well as to deliver a seminar on semiconductor integrated circuit design techniques for the Faculty’s lecturers and students. The meeting was attended by Dr. Huynh Van Van – Vice Dean and the students of FEEE.
At the beginning of the event, both sides engaged in a cordial discussion on potential cooperation directions in teaching, scientific research, and academic development between FEEE, TDTU and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. Following that, Professor Wu-Ching Chou introduced an overview of National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, one of Taiwan’s leading universities in science and technology, and shared information about scholarship programs and study opportunities for Vietnamese students.
The highlight of the program was the seminar on semiconductor circuit design techniques, where Professor Wu-Ching Chou presented emerging technological trends in microelectronics, integrated circuit design and optimization processes, and practical applications in the modern electronics industry. The seminar also featured an engaging discussion and Q&A session, during which students actively interacted with the professor, received detailed answers, and gained broader insights and clearer orientations for their future studies and research.
This event served as an important occasion to strengthen international cooperation between the FEEE, TDTU, and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (Taiwan), while offering students the opportunity to access specialized knowledge and stay updated with cutting – edge technological trends in semiconductor circuit design – one of the key research directions in modern engineering.
