On the afternoon of September 15, 2024, in Hall 2A, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized a welcome session for the new students of class 27 who were admitted in 2023. Through this meeting, the Faculty Management Board (FMB) introduced the overview of university environment to new students in order to help them become more confident in their studying and practice for the upcoming journey at the university.
The welcoming session took place with the participation of Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong and Dr. Huynh Van Van - Vice Deans of the Faculty, and many lecturers and staff of the Faculty along with the freshmen. The meeting began with some artistic performances by the FEEE’s students. On behalf of the FMB, Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong gave introduction on FEEE as well as the FEEE students’ culture and identification characteristics. Next, Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau - Vice President of TDTU had a profound letter sent to the new students of Class 27, which was read by the freshmen Le Hai Long.
Following the meeting, Mr. Le Duc Thinh answered questions from new students to help them gain more information about the fields of study and the curricula. Before concluding the program, Mr. Phan Thanh Duy went on to discuss class schedules with the students. He also offered additional insights into the upcoming university activities and reminded the students about the school's regulations and policies, emphasizing the requirement that students are aware of, understand, and diligently adhere to them.
Through this meeting, new students can learn many aspects of the curricula as well as an overview of their majors. From there, they will have a better vision of the courses as well as the majors that they are going to study.
