The Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Welcomes Okura Technology Singapore Pte. Ltd. to Expand Cooperation in Industrial Robotics

On the afternoon of December 5, 2025, at Meeting Room C, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) had the honor of hosting and working with representatives from Okura Technology Singapore Pte. Ltd. The meeting focused on discussing bilateral cooperation plans, as well as promoting sponsorship and technology investment in the field of industrial robotics.

Attending the session, the corporate delegation included Mr. Joseph QL Dinh (Mr. Lam) – CEO of Okura Technology Singapore Pte. Ltd., and Mr. William Cao Nguyen (Mr. Nguyen) – Founder of CN Consulting Singapore. Representing the FEEE were Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong – Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Vu Tri Vien – Head of Department of Automation and Control Engineering, Dr. Nguyen Hoang Nam – Head of Mechatronics Engineering major, and Dr. Pham Huu Ly – Coordinator of Enterprise Networking and Alumni Affairs.

Okura Flexible Automation Systems Pte. Ltd. (OFAS), established in 1989, is a leading provider of industrial robotic systems for automated warehouse logistics. The company has developed extensive partnerships with multinational corporations across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, and has successfully implemented more than 650 distribution and automation projects in factories and distribution centers worldwide. The central discussion during this meeting focused on fostering connections with investors to sponsor state-of-the-art industrial robotic systems for the Faculty’s laboratory, contributing to the enhancement of training quality and scientific research.

The meeting between the FEEE and Okura Technology Singapore Pte. Ltd. concluded successfully, marking an important step toward strategic cooperation in investment promotion and technology sponsorship in industrial robotics. This collaboration brings valuable opportunities for students to gain access to advanced automation solutions deployed in over 650 global projects, thereby strengthening their practical competencies and supporting their academic and professional development in the future.
