On the afternoon of February 13, 2025, at meeting room B010, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) at Ton Duc Thang University successfully organized an exchange session, career orientation and scholarship awarding for students majoring in Electrical Engineering. The event was held to provide students with a clearer understanding of their career paths and equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to thrive in a modern work environment.
The event welcomed guest speaker Mr. Nguyen Quoc Trung – Electrical BIM Digital Professional Engineer, EA, South Australia, Australia. On the side of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, there was the presence of Dr. Pham Huu Ly - Lecturer of the Department of Electrical Engineering and many students of Electrical Engineering. The program focused on key aspects to help students with career orientation and selecting a graduation project that aligns with current trends in Electrical Engineering. Additionally, students gained deeper insights into the fields of heavy and light electrical systems, as well as related specializations, providing them with a more comprehensive understanding of their field of study. Notably, the guest speaker shared practical experiences about studying and working abroad from the perspective of a BIM engineer in Electrical Engineering. Furthermore, the program emphasized the importance of English proficiency in both academic and professional settings, not only in Vietnam but also in the international environment, helping students better prepare with the fundamental knowledge for the future.
The exchange also includes a Q&A session for students, giving them the opportunity to directly interact with experts and lecturers to better understand their career development path. In particular, the program also took time to award 05 scholarships (each worth 3,000,000 VND) to students with difficult circumstances but with excellent academic achievements.
By the end of the event, students had acquired valuable knowledge and felt more confident in shaping their career paths and preparing for future opportunities.
