On May 9th, 2024, in room A0403, Tan Phong campus, Ton Duc Thang University. The Alumni Liaison Committee (ALC) of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) successfully organized an exchange and sharing activity of the ALC with the theme "Different perspectives on the field of solar power". Attending the program, the guests were alumni currently working at PowerTech Trading and Engineering Company Limited, including Mr. Pham Van Thinh - Head of Sales, Mr. Chu Van Phuoc - Deputy of Services, Mr. Nguyen To Thanh Long - Sales Officer, Ms. Bui Dieu Tham - Marketing Specialist, MSc. Phan Thanh Tai - Leader of the ALC and about 160 students of the Faculty FEEE.
At the program, the Alumni shared about the actual status of the current solar power field, experiences in designing, constructing, supervising the field of solar power sector; Introduced in detail the software, hardware, new technologies and techniques of the current solar power field in the residential and industrial segments; Shared the work experience a technician needs to do after completing the installation of a solar power system such as operation and routine maintenance.
In addition, the Alumni shared with the students some necessary skills for students related to the field of solar energy such as presentation skills and problem explanations; Teamwork coordination, analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving skills to complete a project; Skills to adapt to a dynamic, constantly changing working environment. More specifically, the Alumni have also created opportunities to find jobs at Power Tech Trading and Engineering Company Limited for students who are passionate about the field of solar energy.
