On April 12, 2025, the "TDTU Open Day 2025" took place at Ton Duc Thang University's (TDTU) main campus in a vibrant and lively atmosphere. The event attracted over 3,000 students and parents from Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces. The booth of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) stood out as a highlight, drawing the attention of many young people passionate about technology and engineering.
At the booth of the FEEE, Dr. Nguyen Huu Khanh Nhan - Vice Dean of FEEE, shared that: “The Faculty currently offers five programs: Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering with a specialization in Microelectronics, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation and Control Engineering. These programs are designed to be closely aligned with practical applications and are continuously updated to meet industry demands. The faculty's facilities are equipped with modern equipment, fostering students' creativity and adaptability in the increasingly dynamic field of engineering”.
Starting from 8:00 AM, the booth of the FEEE attracted numerous students and visitors from High School. The displayed models and project products captivated attendees, leading to many questions about the programs and career paths. Faculty members and student volunteers provided detailed information, helping visitors gain a clear understanding of the academic offerings. In addition to visiting and learning information, the booth also organizes interesting mini games, creating opportunities for students to participate and receive attractive souvenirs. This is a highlight that attracts many young people, adding to the fun and dynamic atmosphere of the festival. Yen Oanh - a 12th-grade student from Tran Phu High School, excitedly shared after her visit: "The event today is extensive, covering an entire street. After being thoroughly advised by the faculty, I have a clearer direction for my future. I am eager to become a student in Automation and Control Engineering major at the FEEE."
The event also saw active participation from parents. One parent, whose child is interested in pursuing studies in FEEE, commented after visiting the booth: "I have known about Ton Duc Thang University partly because it's close to home, but mainly due to its reputation for quality education, especially in engineering. Seeing my child's interest in FEEE, I feel reassured after the detailed guidance provided here. I believe this is a suitable environment for my child to develop and pursue their chosen field".
TDTU Open Day 2025 not only served as an information hub but also as a bridge connecting prospective students, their families, and the university. The FEEE booth demonstrated a strong commitment to student recruitment, leaving a positive impression and assisting attendees in making informed decisions about their academic futures.
