Collaboration with National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (Taiwan) to Introduce International Joint Training Programs and Sensor Technology Seminar

On the afternoon of March 23, 2026, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), successfully organized an online session titled “Introduction to International Joint Training Programs and Seminar on Sensor Technology,” attracting nearly 100 students. The event aimed to help students access advanced technological trends while expanding their academic and career orientations in an international environment.

The program featured insightful academic presentations by professors from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU). First, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chen Li-Yin presented on gas sensors based on organic semiconductors, emphasizing the role of doping strategies in improving performance, enhancing sensitivity, and expanding applications in biomedical and environmental fields. Following that, Prof. Hsin-Fei Meng introduced applications of organic semiconductor materials in energy and environmental monitoring, particularly through practical examples related to water quality control and agricultural activities. In addition to the technical content, both professors also shared information on dual-degree programs, scholarship opportunities, and research pathways for students.

The discussion session was lively, with many practical questions regarding material safety, as well as opportunities for studying and working abroad. The open exchanges helped students gain clearer insights into career orientations and demonstrated the proactive, globally-minded spirit of TDTU students.

The session concluded with positive feedback from participants, reaffirming the Faculty’s continuous efforts to strengthen international collaboration, enhance training quality, and create more comprehensive development opportunities for students in the context of global integration.
