Alumni Seminar: Application of Revit Software in Electrical and Electronic System Design and Management

To strengthen the connection between alumni and current students while enhancing students’ exposure to real-world applications of engineering technologies, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Ton Duc Thang University in collaboration with the Alumni Association, organized a seminar titled “Application of Revit Software in the Design and Management of Electrical and Electronic Systems” on October 17, 2025. The seminar featured distinguished alumni currently working in leading companies, including Mr. Vo Tan Dat (TLC Modular Construction Co., Ltd.), Mr. Pham Tien Dat (Tri Viet Engineering Consulting JSC), and Mr. Nguyen Huynh Huu Phuc (Industrial Construction and Solution JSC).

The speakers introduced the fundamentals of Revit software and the Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology, highlighting its significant role in modern electrical system design and project management. Students learned about the integration between AutoCAD and Revit, interdisciplinary coordination among electrical, mechanical, and architectural teams, as well as collaboration workflows within BIM environments.

Additionally, the alumni shared valuable insights into professional skills, job opportunities, and recruitment expectations in the BIM–Revit field. The session not only provided practical knowledge but also reinforced the spirit of “Connection – Sharing – Development” within the TDTU Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering community.
