To strengthen the cooperation relationship between the Faculty, the University, and the Enterprises, on the morning of October 11, 2022, in meeting room C, the Altar technology seminar and the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) took place at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) with companies: Altair Engineering Company SDN BHD (AESB) and PCB GraphTech Vietnam Co., Ltd. Besides, to create conditions for lecturers, researchers, and students to exchange and access to advanced technologies, there was also a seminar to introduce simulation solutions for research and teaching using Altair software.

Attending the MOU signing ceremony and the Altar technology seminar, representing for TDTU, there was Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau - Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong – Vice Dean of the Faculty, lecturers and researchers of the FEEE, the Incos Institute, Faculty of Information Technology, and the Faculty of Civil Engineering, and nearly 100 students of Automation and Mechatronics majors. On the partner side, we welcomed Mr. Lim Seng Tat - Business manager of Malaysia & Philippines AESB, Mr. Le Thanh Tuan – CEO of PCB Graph Tech Vietnam Co., Ltd., and AESB experts.
Within the framework of the Altair technology seminar, experts from Altair presented in general as well as in detail solutions for high-performance computing systems and cloud computing, system design electronics, structural analysis, architectural engineering, data analytics, and the internet of things.
At the end of the MOU signing ceremony and the seminar, the parties agreed to implement several key cooperation activities such as: Establishing a Center of Excellence in Engineering and Computer Science and coordinating training to develop capacity through lectures, seminars, forums, etc., which implement joint consulting projects, internships programs for TDTU students at AESB.
