Admission for Master program in Automation and Control Engineering 2025
I. PROGRAM INTRODUCTION
Automation and Control Engineering Master Program trains human resources with good knowledge in fundamental sciences and basic techniques; creative thinking for solving scientific and technological problems in automation and control engineering; solving practical requirements in automatic system design and practice; having assurance, clarity in research method for developing professional knowledge, combining with team working and international standard working skills.
II. THE EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Understand and identify key problems to solve in scientific research; select the suitable methods and solutions for the problem; know how to deploy and modify the solution in the process of practical application.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of the scientific methodology in control theory, production automation; system identification; robot design and control.
- Understand and apply procedures, principles, research methods, design techniques, control programming and operation automation systems proficiently; for example, PLC, SCADA, industrial communication standards-based systems, drive systems, industrial automation equipment.
Ability to find new technique, technology to create new solutions or equipment for the field of automation and control engineering.

- Consular legalization of Bachelor's degree certificates and transcripts (attached English translation, or Vietnamese translation if transcripts are in a foreign language)
- Statement of purpose (500 words) in TDTU format
- Vietnamese proficiency certificate CEFR B2 (level 4 over 6)
- Notarized copy of Passport
- Reference Letter (if any)
- Photograph (3x4 cm)
- Health check report (within the last 6 months)
- Applicants who completed their degree in a language other than English are required to submit evidence of English proficiency
- Bank guarantee (The bank account balance as bank owner with the minimum amount of $2,500, and invalid until the application submission deadline)
- Criminal record (within the last 6 months)
- International student commitment form (Submit directly to the Department of Graduate Studies on arrival at Tan Phong campus)
