Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering hosted the unmanned maze solving robot competition “Micromouse 2017”.
21 teams have enrolled into the competition. TTQ electronic device shop has sponsored the electronic parts for the teams to design their robot mice. The requirement of the competition is to design an unmanned robot mice that can solve a 4x7 maze. Each robot is equipped with at least 2 sensors to recognize the maze. Depending on the maze solving algorithm of the programmer, the time for robot mice to solve the maze is varied.
On the evening of the 15 July 2017, the first round of the competition was hosted at 6B Hall, TDTU. 8 robots, as below, with the shortest maze solving time moved to the final round.
