In order to help students majoring in Automation and Control Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering understand more about the working environment after graduation, a specialized session was held at 8:30 AM on April 11, 2024, in meeting room C, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) coordinated with East Sea Technology Engineering Electrical Automation Company Limited (ESTEC Co., Ltd.). to organize a specialized session “Challenges of automation personnel in the current and near future business environment” to exchange and share the difficulties and challenges of automated personnel in the current and near-future enterprise environment.
The sharing session had the participation of two special guests including Ms. Vuong Thuy Duong - Deputy Director of Operations, and Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Deputy Director of Technology of the ESTEC Co., Ltd. From the FEEE, there was the participation of Dr. Vu Tri Vien - Head of the Department of Automation and Control with lecturers and students of the FEEE. During the sharing session, students were able to absorb and exchange information about market trends in automation, the difficulties and challenges of the profession, thereby helping them understand more and know how to seize opportunities in the future. In addition, students also accumulated knowledge through the sharing of Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh about the coordination between operating technology and information technology. This is also a big challenge for students, and through the experiences of Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, students have learned how to apply it to the field of automation.
The sharing session was a success and gave the students a lot of meaning. This is also an opportunity for students to learn and will be an important preparation for them in the near future. Also, through this sharing session, the FEEE in particular and Ton Duc Thang University in general hope that the relationship between the university and the ESTEC Co., Ltd. will continue to develop further.
