In order to accompany students on the path of choosing the right majors and occupations for the upcoming national high school exam, on April 8, 2023, at Ton Duc Thang University, "Admission Counseling and Career Orientation Day (TDTU Destination 2023)" was held and the booth of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) attracted a lot of attention from students who are interested and oriented in electrical and electronics engineering as well as their parents through the enthusiastic advice from lecturers and students of the FEEE.
In the framework of the admission day, the FEEE’s booth was very crowded with the visit of high school students. Here, a team of professional consultants, all of whom are long-term lecturers of the Faculty, provided students with the most complete and accurate information on majors, and admission methods. Besides, high school students had real-life experiences with the laboratory tour on the 9th floor of building D with modern facilities and equipment for the learning process.
After having the opportunity to be consulted and experienced at FEEE’s booth, Pham Hoang Anh – a student from class 12E of Trung Vuong High School shared that: “I am very impressed with the grandeur of the TDTU Destination 2023. Moreover, the investment in facilities, enthusiasm, and dedication from the lecturers’ consulting team and students from FEEE".
Especially, during the meeting between Dr. Nguyen Nhat Tan - Lecturer of FEEE with students of Tran Phu High School at the booth of FEEE, he emphasized: " The FEEE at TDTU is the ideal destination for students who are interested in engineering. Not only with modern equipment, but students also can complete their knowledge and skills in all aspects to ensure job opportunities after graduation.” Besides, he had an honest sharing: "There is no way to success without going through hardships and difficulties, but the key to that success is enthusiasm, passion, exploration, and learning in the learning process” The teacher's meaningful sharing has had the big impact on the student in their way choosing a career.
The TDTU Destination 2023 was held successfully with meaningful messages. It proved that TDTU, the faculties at TDTU in general, and the FEEE, in particular, always pay attention to career orientation problems, always giving students the opportunity to get to know more about their favorite major. This event has built a solid preparation for high school students to enter the upcoming 2023 national high school exam.
