Abstract

As white light emitting diodes (LEDs) to be utilized in solid state lighting beyond the technical constraints of conventional illuminating technologies, steady and effective phosphor devices are crucial. Therefore, the inorganic solid state converting phosphors have to be carefully chosen and assessed based on their unique substance characteristics and synergistic optic factors. According to this paper, we give a broad summary of the most current advancements in LED phosphors. Initially, we analyze the general photoluminescence regulating technique of phosphor to meet the LED uses, and then we show examples of both the most advanced and newly developed LED phosphors. Following that, modern structures have been examined and used as examples of the approaches for the development of novel LED phosphors through mineral-inspired prototype evolution and novel stage build, combinatorial optimization screening, and the sole-particle-diagnosis methodology. The conclusion and potential further growth of LED phosphors have been suggested.
