Abstract: In this paper, we study an amply-and-forward (AF) relay system relied on radio energy harvesting (EH). The energy constrained relay node early collects power through radio-frequency (RF) signals from the source node. Then, the relay node utilizes the collected power to transmit the information to the destination. The source node transmits power and information to the relay node through the delay-limited (DL) and delay- tolerant (DT) modes in the time switching-based relaying (TSR) protocol. From there, we derive the accurate analytical clause of the gotten throughput and Ergodic capacity. By numerical analysis, we survey the throughput operation over different network factors, such as energy harvesting time, the energy conversion coefficient, the target ratio, the noise rate as well as the position of the relay. Especially, the throughput operation of the DT mode outperforms that of DL one.
