4. Programme Objectives – (POs)

PO1: Students will become the automation and control engineers with good basic knowledge, both in theory and in experiments.

PO2: Students master the methodology for conducting research, have critical thinking and creativity; have ability of self-learning and studying automatic control at graduate level.

PO3: Students are able to design, implement, operate the the control systems; manage, consult, and provide technical support on automatic control products and projects.

PO4: Students have ability to work independently as well as together in groups in high pressure environment; ability to develop and integrate in high quality job market.

PO5: Students are trained to be automation and control engineers with good specialized knowledge as well as good health and professional ethics.

General knowledge

Basic knowledge on politics, natural sciences and social sciences, knowledge on foreign language and informatics.

ELO1: Ability to understand the ideology as well as current policies of the government.

ELO2: Abilitty to understand and apply general knowledge such as mathematics, physics, chemistry and programming languagues.

ELO3: Ability to use English efficiently (equivalent to PET B1 Cambridge or IELTS 5.0), and ability use Microsoft Office proficiently (equivalent to MOS certificate with the score at least 750/1000).

Specialized knowledge

Fundamental knowledge on electrical engineering; specialized knowledge on automation and control.

ELO4: Ability to analyze, design basic electronic circuits and basic automatic control systems.

ELO5: Ability to apply the specialized knowledge to solve repetitive problems in automation and control engineering.

ELO6: Ability to analyze and evaluate the practical problems that may happen in automation and control engineering and select the proper methods to solve those problems.

ELO7: Ability to improve and upgrade the automatic control systems.
