Abstract
In this paper, we evaluate an energy harvesting (EH) relaying cooperative non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) system operating in half-duplex (HD) fixed decode-and-forward (DF), where two data symbols can be received in two time slots at the receiver which leads to higher transmission rate. In addition, power-splitting (PS) protocol is considered to understand its impacts on the outage performance and the delay-limited throughput. It is shown that due to the placement of relay, the system performance is affected. We provide simulation results to prove the robustness of the system.
