On the afternoon of August 16, 2025, at Hall 2A, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE), Ton Duc Thang University held a meeting with students at the beginning of the first semester of the 2025-2026 academic year. This is an annual activity to welcome students to the new academic year, and at the same time, it is an opportunity for the Faculty to directly listen to the opinions and wishes of students.
The program took place with the participation of the Faculty's leadership, lecturers, staff and a large number of students of courses 26, 27 and 28. This year, the Faculty awarded certificates of merit to outstanding students in many fields: the "Good people, good deeds" movement, excellent achievements in sports, won the Gold prize in Group A of the 13th "Design, manufacture, application" Award - 2025, won the Third prize in the 2nd International Competition on Research and Design of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles - 2025, and individuals who have made many positive contributions to the development of the Faculty.
In addition to the awards, the meeting also focused on implementing many important contents. The Faculty's leadership shared about postgraduate programs and opportunities to do graduation projects abroad, aiming to create an open academic environment and long-term development orientation for students. At the same time, the Robotics and Drone Research Club was introduced as a new academic playground, promoting creativity and research spirit.
Scientific research and start-up activities were also widely disseminated, encouraging students to actively participate and realize creative ideas. The live Q&A session chaired by the Faculty leaders specifically answered questions about studying, training programs and academic regulations. In addition, the content of student-student work was deployed to help students understand the regulations, ensuring strict and correct implementation throughout the school year.
The meeting ended in a lively and open atmosphere. The careful preparation of lecturers and staff and the positive spirit of students created an exciting start for the new academic year 2025-2026. The FEEE hopes that with a clear orientation and close cooperation between lecturers and students, students will confidently conquer their learning, research and self-development goals this academic year.
