In order to create condition for students to have more opportunities to experience reality and better understand the equipment as well as the operation of a transformer station. In the morning 18th of October 2022, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Ton Duc Thang University and Management Board of Tan Phong Transformer Station successfully held a training session for students.
Tan Phong Transformer Station was located at 1st Nguyen Phan Chanh Street, Phu My Hung Urban Area, Tan Phong Ward, District 7 with the total area of 6473.6 m2 and this was a 110/22kV transformer station. It has contributed to the stability of the complete power transmission system in District 7 in particular and Ho Chi Minh City in general. At the transformer station, students were directly introduced in detail by the station's staff about the parameters, diagrams, roles, layout as well as operating procedures of the equipment installed here. Most devices were connected to computer equipment in order to transmit all the detailed parameters during their operation making it convenient for monitoring and inspection.
The training session helped you discover and better understand how the equipment worked here. Throughthe training session, the Faculty Management Board hope that students will accumulate new knowledge to serve their future study and work.
