On the morning of 7 November 2025, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE), Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) was honoured to welcome Thuan Binh Wind Power Joint Stock Company to the campus for a visit and working session. Present from the faculty were Dr. Huynh Van Van – Vice Dean of the FEEE, Dr. Tran Dinh Cuong – Vice Head of Department of Electrical Engineering, along with lecturers of the Department of Electrical Engineering. From the company’s side, the delegation was led by Mr. Bui Van Thinh – Chief Executive Officer (CEO), accompanied by Mr. Le Minh Thach – Deputy CEO, Mr. Pham Quang Trieu – Director of the M&E Service Centrer, and their associates.
The meeting took place in a warm and open atmosphere, reflecting the spirit of cooperation between academia and industry in the field of training and developing human resources. During the session, both parties discussed key areas of collaboration, focusing on strengthening the link between education and practical experience - particularly in the strategic field of renewable energy. Thuan Binh Wind Power Joint Stock Company expressed their desire to cooperate with the FEEE to arrange internships and practicums for students, and to participate in teaching certain specialised modules so that students can gain early exposure to real working technologies and environments.
Furthermore, both sides agreed on the direction to develop the training programme in a deeper specialised orientation, equipping students of the Electrical Engineering major with the knowledge and skills suited to the needs of the wind energy sector in particular and the renewable energy industry in general. The delegates shared a vision of Vietnam’s green transition, emphasising the role of the younger generation of engineers in promoting sustainable development and applying high technology in clean energy production.
This working session not only strengthened the cooperative relationship between the FEEE, TDTU and Thuan Binh Wind Power Joint Stock Company but also opened many new opportunities for students to learn, gain experience, and develop careers in real-world environments. It is considered a crucial first step in building a bridge between the university and the enterprise, contributing to the creation of a high-quality workforce for the strategic field of renewable energy.
