Students of FEEE won the 2nd prize on Competition of Vietnam Smart Energy Hackathon 2019

From 1st to 2nd of June, 2019, at Coworking Space, No. 268 Ly Thuong Kiet Street, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the group of students of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Faculty (FEEE), Ton Duc Thang University participated in Competition of Vietnam Smart Energy Hackathon 2019 which was organized by the collaboration of Nexus Energy Company, High - Tech Enterprise Nursery of Ho Chi Minh City, and Business Incubation Center of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.

The "Vietnam Smart Energy Hackathon 2019" was organized to accelerate and provide startup a path to apply their projects of smart energy and in order to tackle problems in life. At the Contest, the teams applied natural sources of energy such as solar, wind, biomass, etc. to build projects: smart houses, smart power grids, smart light controller systems, etc

With the strong passion for scientific research and the dedicated support of FEEE lecturer, two students Nguyen Khanh Duy and Bui Trong Tam of the FEEE were excellent to win the second prize worth 20 million VND. This award not only encourages the spirit of learning, scientific research and startup of FEEE students but also creates motivation for developing smart energy which is very useful for the country.
