From December 2 to 4, 2024, at Hall A0403 and Room M305, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (FEEE), Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) welcomed a delegation of Professors from the University of Agder (Norway). The event aimed to enhance international cooperation in training and research. Attending the event were the FEEE’s leaders, lecturers, researchers and famous Professors (Prof.) from the University of Agder such as Prof. Van Khang Huynh, Prof. Joao Leal, and Prof. Rade Ciric.
The meeting focused on introducing the history, training and research activities of the two sides. During the event, the University of Agder shared its research strengths in renewable energy and cyber security. The two sides discussed cooperation orientations such as strengthening cooperation in international study and research programs, sharing in-depth knowledge on renewable energy systems and cyber security, and focusing on potential research and technology transfer areas. In addition, lecturers and research groups of the FEEE, TDTU, and the delegation from the University of Agder continued to discuss in detail and plan to develop research projects related to renewable energy and modern technology in the near future.
At the end of the working session, the delegation of Professors from the University of Agder highly appreciated the research capacity and training quality of the FEEE, TDTU and expressed their desire for long-term cooperation. This is an important step forward, not only opening up opportunities for international cooperation but also contributing to enhancing the reputation of the FEEE, TDTU in the field of global academics and research.
