On the afternoon of September 18, 2019, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and Saigontourist Cable Television Company (SCTV) held the Signing Ceremony of Cooperation.
Representatives of SCTV were Mr. Ha Tuan Anh, Deputy General Director; Mr. Nguyen Van Mui, Deputy Technical Director; Mr. Lam Van Viet, Deputy Head of Strategy - Research and Development Department; and Mr. Lam Chi Thuong, Vice Director of VAS Center.
Representatives of TDTU were Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, Vice President and Director of the Center of Enterprise and Alumni Cooperation; Heads of units including the Department of Communications and Public Relations, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Sports Science, Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts, and Ton Duc Thang Professional Vocational School.
At the meeting, the two sides discussed and agreed on the contents that will be implemented in cooperation, including accepting TDTU students to gain experience and prioritizing them in SCTV’s recruitment; terms on research and knowledge transfer; and coordinating to implement TDTU's communication programs.
SCTV is the cable network with the leading market share of pay television in the country, offering nationwide coverage and employing about 4,000 staff.
