On the morning of April 26, 2025, at Hall 10F, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE), Ton Duc Thang University solemnly held the Signing Ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement between the Faculty and Jinyu Tire Vietnam Co., Ltd. The ceremony was honored to welcome Ms. Nguyen Thuy Minh Thy – Human Resources Director of Jinyu Tire Vietnam, along with other company representatives. Representing the university were Dr. Nguyen Huu Khanh Nhan – Vice Dean of the FEEE (signing representative), together with faculty leaders, lecturers, and a large number of students.
Following the signing, Jinyu Tire Vietnam awarded a VND 25 million scholarship to disadvantaged yet academically excellent students, showing the company's support and commitment to student development. Continuing the program was a specialized seminar enthusiastically attended by students. Mr. Phat – Technical Specialist from Jinyu Tire shared insights on the automated tire production process, highlighting the application of robots and automation systems in stages such as molding, pressing, assembling, and quality inspection. The Q&A session was especially lively, with students demonstrating their critical thinking and practical perspective by raising questions regarding the defect rate in production and solutions for handling defective products in an environmentally friendly way. Dr. Vu Tri Vien – Head of Department of Automation and Control Engineering acknowledged the students' sharpness, practical knowledge, and analytical abilities, which are essential qualities for working in a professional industrial environment. The specialized report concluded with an exciting lucky draw, where a valuable tablet prize was awarded to a lucky student. This meaningful gift from Jinyu Tire Vietnam served as a great encouragement for student motivation.
The event marked the beginning of a strong, sustainable cooperation between the FEEE and Jinyu Tire Vietnam, opening up future opportunities for research, training, and the development of high-quality human resources.
