The AIoT Developer Inno Works Application Development Contest is a team-based competition officially launched globally by Advantech Group since 2019. The competition aims to give opportunities to develop and recruit elite technology students at prestigious universities around the world. And in 2024, to continue finding and cultivating young technology talents, Advantech Group decided to continue organizing the Inno Works AIoT Application Development Contest with the hosting of Viet Duc University. And on the morning of July 11, 2024, at Hall 10F, Tan Phong campus, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE), Ton Duc Thang University coordinated with Vietnam Advantech Group and Viet Duc University organized a seminar “Introduction of Aiot Inno Works 2024 application development competition” for students of the FEEE.
At the seminar, we were honored to welcome the presence of representatives from all parties, from Viet Duc University there were Dr. La Vinh Trung - Head of Scientific Research Management Department, MSc. Tran Quang Nhu - Representative of the Faculty of Engineering, and Ms. Le Tran Tu Uyen - Representative of the Marketing and Admissions Department. Vietnam Advantech Group's representatives were Mr. Nguyen Bao Lam - CTO, mentor InnoWorks and Ms. Tran Quynh Anh - Marketing Department Representative. And from the FEEE, there were the presence of the Faculty Management Board: Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong - Vice Dean in Charge of FEEE, Dr. Nguyen Huu Khanh Nhan - Vice Dean of Faculty, Dr. Huynh Van Van - Vice Dean of Faculty. In particular, there was the presence of lecturers and officers and more than 300 students of the FEEE. The purpose of the seminar is to create opportunities for students to learn about large-scale specialized competitions and gain access to the development of applied research projects and innovative startups. At the same time, the competition also promotes international exchange and integration activities as well as promotes cooperation between universities, institutes and businesses.
At the end of the seminar was the students' exchange, discussion and questions about the competition. Through the seminar, students of the FEEE had the opportunity to participate in applied research projects as well as develop creative startups on an international scale. In addition, the competition will be a playground for students to express themselves and a way for students to learn, hone their knowledge and apply their expertise to their future careers.
