On the afternoon of January 20th 2024, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE), Ton Duc Thang University successfully organized a seminar with the topic " Information & Microservice-Centric Networking with AI as a Future Network Tech” Attending the seminar was Professor Byung-Seo Kim - The main speaker, from Hongik University, Professor Byung-Seo Kim has 152 publications with 24 H-index upon the Web of Science. From Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, there were Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong - Faculty leader, lecturers, along with students of major Telecommunication and electronics engineering.
The seminar began with an introduction by Professor Byung-Seo Kim about himself and the research topic this time. The aim of the seminar was the presentation of a new data access method based on the content that users need to search, and routing through the ‘Name’ without focusing too much on the IP address,… At the end of the presentation, the Professor presented the research results from BcNLab.
The end of the seminar was a time for the lecturers and students to ask questions and discuss with Professor Kim. Through this, there were more opportunities for collaborative research on this topic between the FEEE and the Professor. At the end of this seminar, the lecturers and students of the FEEE gained a different perspective on data access methods and acquired new knowledge through the professor’s research results.
