On the morning of November 21, 2023, the Alumni Liaison Committee of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) organized an exchange activity, sharing technology for students with the theme: “Connecting generations, creating the future” at room A0403, Ton Duc Thang University. The guests are former students of FEEE, Mr. Vo Tan Dat (Design Engineer of TLC Modular Construction Co., Ltd.) and Mr. Tran Anh Tuan (Director of Solar Solutions Joint Stock Company).
At the exchange, Mr. Vo Tan Dat shared about Revit MEP software, BIM technology, and the applications of Revit software related to the field of electrical - electronics, modeling electrical systems (using Revit software to create a 3D model of the electrical system, including electrical equipment, cable trays, etc.). Mr. Dat also shared and explained how Revit links with BIM, helping teams work together on a project and share information effectively.
In the field of solar energy, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan shared his experiences with students in designing, constructing, and supervising. He also introduced some software currently being applied for calculation and design in companies and enterprises. In addition, Mr. Tuan also introduced new technologies and equipment currently being researched for use in the field of solar energy.
Through this activity, the Alumni Liaison Board in particular and the FEEE in general hope to create opportunities for students to exchange, learn, and understand more about the field of solar energy, and the usefulness and application of Revit software. This will help students keep up with the recruitment needs of current businesses, have more job opportunities when they graduate, and have career orientations for the future.
