Not only to reinforce the knowledge of electrical safety skills but also to create a meaningful and healthy playground for students at the beginning of the academic year. The Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) organized the online competition named "Electrical safety skills". The competition took place in 4 days (September, 27th – September, 30th). There are 1.311 students who were studying at FEEE taking part in the competition.
The content of the competition was a summary of knowledge related to the field of electrical safety included the analysis of electrical accident situations and the effect of electric current through the human body, grounding system, lightning protection system, electric disconnection design, the measure to protect the people and devices, the electrical safety management, etc. The competition consisted of 40 questions in total. Students who had the required score would be certified in training point.
At the end of the competition, student Nguyen Huynh Cong Trang was the winner owing to his highest score and the shortest time to complete the test. Next, student Nguyen Truong Huy won the second prize, students Nguyen Duc Huy and Nguyen Chi Thien won the third prize, and students Tran Long Cat and Le Gia Cuong received the consolation prizes. The contest attracted a large number of students. The FEEE will continue to organize other online competitions this academic year.
