On November 4, 2024, at Hall 2A, Ton Duc Thang University, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering successfully held the "New Member Admission Ceremony" and the "Third Student Dialogue" for the new students of the 28th class. This important event marked the official entry of new students into the Faculty’s Student Association, while also providing an opportunity to engage directly with faculty leadership on academic matters.
The admission ceremony began at 5:30 PM, with the presence of representatives from the Vietnam Student Association, the Faculty’s Student Association Executive Committee, Faculty Leaders, lecturers, and 649 freshmen of the Class of 28. The ceremony opened with a welcoming address, followed by an introduction of distinguished guests, the official announcement of new memberships, and the presentation of membership cards and commemorative flags to sub-associations. Faculty representatives and the Student Association gave speeches, congratulating and encouraging the academic spirit of the new students.
After the ceremony, the student dialogue session took place from 7:25 PM to 9:00 PM. This was a valuable occasion for students to engage in direct discussions with faculty leadership and lecturers, addressing questions on academic issues and study pathways. Students' questions were thoughtfully listened to and answered, providing them with a clearer understanding of their upcoming academic journey.
The event concluded successfully in a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere. It was a meaningful occasion, helping new students to better integrate and reaffirming the Faculty’s commitment to supporting them.
