On October 14th and 21st, 2021, the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (FEEE) of Ton Duc Thang University held a meeting for new students of the 25th class of the 2020-2021 academic year through the Zoom application. At the meeting, the Faculty Management Board shared important information regarding the school, the FEEE, and instructions on building a learning method for students during four school years. It is also an opportunity for new students to express their thoughts and aspirations.
The meeting took place with the participation of Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau – Dean of Faculty, Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong - Vice Dean of Faculty, Mr. Le Duc Thinh – Academic Affair, academic staff of the FEEE and new students of the 25th class. Opening the meeting, Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau made introductions an overview of the FEEE and deparments, training programs, and research groups. In addition, she also introduced more about the cultural and academic activities of the Faculty and the electronic club to support students during their period of studying at university. Besides, Dr. Dinh Hoang Bach, and Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong, Dr. Vu Tri Vien, and Dr. Nguyen Hoang Nam shared the information of the departments with new students, specialized them to further career orientation. In addition, Mr. Le Duc Thinh and Mr. Phan Thanh Duy presented more about the academic field and student affairs with regulations, plans of study, statutes, etc.
At the end of the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty answered questions to help new students better understand the learning environment. Thereby, the students have a more general overview of the Faculty as well as the training program for their future studying orientation.
